Join the East Asia Center as we continue our community gathering and Leslie Cheung film retrospective series, Thursday, April 13, with food and socializing starting at 5:30 p.m. in New Cabell Hall 236. The film showtime will begin at 6:00 p.m.

The fourth film in our series The Phantom Lover (夜半歌聲) is a 1995 Hong Kong musical romance drama film starring Leslie Cheung and Jacklyn Wu. It was directed by Ronny Yu and is a remake of the 1937 film Song at Midnight (directed by Ma-Xu Weibang, often referred to as the first Chinese horror film).
