The East Asia Center welcomes Scott Kastner, Professor in the Department of Government and Politics, at the University of Maryland, College Park, for a special Coughlin Lecture "Assessing the Prospects for War and Peace in the Taiwan Strait." Part of UVA's Nelson Lectures on Southeast Asia, the talk, co-sponsored by the Miller Center, will be held Friday, November 17, from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. in Monroe 118.
