We will be joined by Christopher Cullen, Emeritus Director of the Needham Research Institute and Emeritus Fellow of Darwin College, Cambridge, for a special Coughlin Lecture on East Asia "Science and Civilization in China: A Century of Changing Perspectives and Approaches." The talk, co-sponsored by the Department of Astronomy, will be held Friday, October 21, from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. in Monroe 122.
