The East Asia Center will be hosting an event with our regional faculty affiliate Clyde Wang, Assistant Professor of Politics at Washington and Lee University. Professor Wang, whose research investigates ideology in authoritarian political systems, with a special focus on contemporary China, will be delivering a talk entitled "When the Party Starts Partying: Structure, Logic, and Contradictions of Propaganda in China's New Era."
The event is free and open to the public, and will be held Friday, February 2, from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. in Monroe 124.
