East China Normal University ECNU-UVA Visiting Scholar Program

UVA currently enjoys an active Visiting Scholar Agreement with East China Normal University (ECNU) in Shanghai, China. By the terms of this agreement, ECNU provides visa sponsorship, reimbursement of roundtrip economy-class international airfare, cash per diem of CNY 1,000 per day for up to 14 days or CNY 14,000 (about 2000 USD) total, and use of an office or laboratory facilities as needed, for up to five faculty visiting scholars from UVA per year.

Faculty are also welcome to request support from Justin O'Jack (UVA China Office, Director) when making arrangements for visiting ECNU.
